Ok, this is great – quirky and fun. Thanks!
So is that “dale nene” a translation of “yeeeah, booyy!?”
Sï! any other translation of that “yeaaahh boy!” would have need some bleeping:)
See, I am not alone in my ruminations of beer.

I heard that Quilmes was better before the devaluation…as if there was an imported ingredient that was replaced by something that changed the taste. But Quilmes is really a BA beer, Cordobeses have Cordoba, Salteños have Norte, and I remember they were decent.
Believe me, I know Argentina can do better. I am really impressed by many Argentine microbrewed beers.
I fully agree with you Frank. Quilmes gives me a day after headache. It holds 85% of the market and hey – they have some really great commercials but to drink it…sorry Argentines. But sorry Yanquis – I don’t like Bud either. There are so many great small brew houses – especially down south where they grow the hops (El Bolson) but the volume of production is not enough to make it up here to the city. Also there are micro-breweries here. I interviewed Chris Canty, a beer journalist and he gave me his strong opinion. http://www.wtfargentina.com/?p=154 CHEERS!
